Well over 150 animated films were received from 25 different countries. The Festival Directors decided to break them into to categories based on animation style. The categories are 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Anime and Other Animation. In addition there will be awards presented for Best Music Video, Best Experimental Animation, Best Animation with Live Action, Best Foreign Animation, Best Animation for Children (7 and under), and a few more to be announced.
